Social Purpose Pilot - Needs Assessment Survey
Thank you for helping shape this program. This survey takes about 15 minutes. It asks about your workplace experiences and what you’d want from workplace mental health education, so we can design courses that fit the nuanced needs within the social purpose sector.
Who is running this: Lincoln Grey, Branch & Anchor Mental Health & Wellness Services, Montreal, QC.
Contact: workplace@branchanchor.com.
How we’ll use your responses
Your answers will be used to design three pilot courses (for volunteers/interns, staff, and managers/people leaders) and to write a findings report.
The report will present combined results and themes and not individual responses.
If you share an open-ended comment, if you consent, we may quote all or some of your comment in the report, marketing materials or the program content only in a way that can’t identify you.
Your choices
Participation is voluntary. You can skip any question or stop at any time.
You do not need to join the pilot to complete this survey.
This survey asks about work conditions and learning needs. It does not ask for personal health information, so please don’t include any in your comments.
Your information
We collect; role, organization size, sector, contact email if you choose to provide it. Your responses to this survey are protected by industry-standard SSL encryption. Your data will be processed and securely stored on our hosting provider’s servers (Squarespace) in compliance with Privacy Policy and Canadian privacy guidelines. Your information will not be sold or shared. We will keep your submission until August 31st, 2027 then delete or anonymize it.
You can ask us to remove your responses by contacting workplace@branchanchor.com until August 30th, 2027.
Optional follow-up: At the end, you can choose to share your email to receive the findings summary, to be invited to a 20-25 minute conversation, or to subscribe to updates about the pilot. Providing your email is optional, and your survey answers will be kept separate from it where possible.

We acknowledge that our program spans the unceded and ceded lands now known as Ontario which includes 46 treaties and agreements with First Nations and the Crown. We are humbled by the First Nations and Métis communities who have stewarded and lived in a good way on these lands for many generations.
We acknowledge the responsibility of the Crown and their representatives, of settlers and beneficiaries from settler colonialism in supporting efforts to ensure the truth of the past and ongoing oppression continue to be spoken and the harms and violence are ended through collective action. We encourage governments to engage in genuine consultation and consensual partnership working towards reconciliation, healing and prosperity.
As a practice, we are currently located in Tiohtià:ke known as Montréal. Historically a gathering place for many First Nations. These unceded lands have been stewarded by the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) Nation and are now home to many First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities.
